SV	Maar nu heb ik u geschreven, dat gij u niet zult vermengen, [namelijk] indien iemand, een broeder genaamd zijnde, een hoereerder is, of een gierigaard, of een afgodendienaar, of een lasteraar, of een dronkaard, of een rover; dat gij met zodanig een ook niet zult eten.

Alex	νυν δε εγραψα υμιν μη συναναμιγνυσθαι εαν τις αδελφος ονομαζομενος η πορνος η πλεονεκτης η ειδωλολατρης η λοιδορος η μεθυσος η αρπαξ τω τοιουτω μηδε συνεσθιειν
ASV	but as it is, I wrote unto you not to keep company, if any man that is named a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such a one no, not to eat.
BE	But the sense of my letter was that if a brother had the name of being one who went after the desires of the flesh, or had the desire for other people's property, or was in the way of using violent language, or being the worse for drink, or took by force what was not his, you might not keep company with such a one, or take food with him.
Byz	νυν δε εγραψα υμιν μη συναναμιγνυσθαι εαν τις αδελφος ονομαζομενος η πορνος η πλεονεκτης η ειδωλολατρης η λοιδορος η μεθυσος η αρπαξ τω τοιουτω μηδε συνεσθιειν
Darby	But now I have written to you, if any one called brother be fornicator, or avaricious, or idolater, or abusive, or a drunkard, or rapacious, not to mix with [him]; with such a one not even to eat.
ELB05	Nun aber habe ich euch geschrieben, keinen Umgang zu haben, wenn jemand, der Bruder genannt wird, ein Hurer ist, oder ein Habsüchtiger oder ein Götzendiener oder ein Schmäher oder ein Trunkenbold oder ein Räuber, mit einem solchen selbst nicht zu essen.
LSG	Maintenant, ce que je vous ai écrit, c'est de ne pas avoir des relations avec quelqu'un qui, se nommant frère, est impudique, ou cupide, ou idolâtre, ou outrageux, ou ivrogne, ou ravisseur, de ne pas même manger avec un tel homme.

Sch	Nun aber habe ich euch geschrieben, daß ihr keinen Umgang haben sollt mit jemandem, der sich Bruder nennen läßt und dabei ein Unzüchtiger oder Habsüchtiger oder Götzendiener oder Lästerer oder Trunkenbold oder Räuber ist; mit einem solchen sollt ihr nicht einmal essen.
Web	But now I have written to you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother is a lewd person, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner: with such person no not to eat.
Weym	But what I meant was that you were not to associate with any one bearing the name of "brother," if he was addicted to fornication or avarice or idol-worship or abusive language or hard-drinking or greed of gain. With such a man you ought not even to eat.
